Exhibition Camille Claudel

From April 15th to July 20th 2008

Known for her passionate relationship with the sculptor Rodin more than for her work, Camille Claudel is the object of a retrospective exhibition.

This exhibition will let you discover her work, made of 80 sculptures, but also engravings and drawings. Camille Claudel, who was Rodin’s pupil, was very influenced by his work. Moreover, it’s quite difficult to differentiate her work from his.

You will also see documents such as their correspondence or pictures of this time.

The exhibition will allow you to know which position Camille Claudel had in the artistic movement of the XIX’s century.
