Born in 1755 in Austria, it’s in 1770 when Marie Antoinette married Louis XVI, the king of France. When she arrived in Versailles, she concerned the court which thought she was too popular. Having received an artistic education, she influenced Versailles in the fields of arts, fashion and music. However, she was soon prevented from interfering in political life.
The exhibition gathers 300 pieces which enable to recount the “Austrian”‘s life.
